Yuxi COSCO Mining Shaker Tailings have a volume of 500 tons/day, with a concentration of 13%, iron content of about 25%, fine particles below 325 mesh reach 80%, and ultra-fine slime below 1600 mesh accounts for 30% of the total tailings. A good index of concentrate iron grade of 55.87 and recovery rate of 60.88 can be obtained by using suspended vibration cone concentrator for one time separation. It can produce 33000 tons of refined iron powder every year, with an annual output value of more than 1400 million yuan.
